There are only a limited number of Aviculturists in Australia producing pure yellow winged amazons. Generally people advertise that they have yellow wings for sale when in reality they are just trying pass off well coloured blue fronts as yellow wings.
A Yellow Winged Amazon is a larger bird than a normal blue front, It has spectacular plumage that consists of as much yellow on the wing as possible, white intergration on the head and a full moon face along with a limey green tail ( this deferentiates from a normal blue front - that presents as a darker green)
