At Parrots Australia we absolutely adore our parrots and believe that if you are purchasing a companion parrot then it should be exactly that...not a semi tame aviary bird. This is why we raise our companion parrots as part of our family,  in our house, where they become familiar with TVs, vacuum cleaners, glass windows and everything else associated within a household. 

We desensitise them to sounds by letting them play with musical /flashing toys.   Whereas our aviary birds go outside into aviaries because we don't want them to be  imprinted.
